Release information for the Axsis Film Windows beta.

Changes in this release
Section titled “Changes in this release”- Dark mode. Appearance settings offer System, Light, and Dark.
- Reorganized Settings. Setup and help are grouped in the Settings interface.
- First-run Tutorial Mode. A guided introduction covers setup, importing, review, exports, and backups. It can be relaunched from Settings > Help.
- In-app update support. Manual update checks begin with this release.
These four changes are listed on the company beta page. No release date has been supplied here.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”Open Settings > General > Appearance, choose the appearance, and use Save Settings to apply it.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”Beta 2 users install Beta 3 manually. In Beta 3, open Settings > Help to check for an update. Updates are not installed simply by opening Help; downloading and installing require explicit actions.
The presence of the updater does not mean a newer release is currently available.
Current limitations
Section titled “Current limitations”- Windows beta only; no macOS release is listed.
- Internet is required for license activation and periodic checks.
- FFmpeg is obtained separately for rendered playlist video export.
- Virtual clips and long source-video rows are not supported in rendered video export.
- Metadata backups do not include videos or source spreadsheets.
- Backup restore and folder relinking are not available.
