Reviewing Film in Axsis Film
Open film from Library Film or Recent Film. Use the player beside the breakdown table to keep the selected clip and its data in context.
Playback and navigation
Section titled “Playback and navigation”Use the player controls, or press Space to play or pause and R to restart.
- Clip mode moves between clips.
- Time mode moves through longer video by time.
- Fullscreen playback is available from the player.
See Keyboard controls for the complete verified key table.
Breakdown context
Section titled “Breakdown context”Select a playable clip to review its video and related breakdown fields. You can save coach notes and edit breakdown fields without changing the source spreadsheet.
If a row does not have matching video, see Breakdown data.
Multiple angles
Section titled “Multiple angles”When the imported film contains detected angles, the player’s angle checklist lets you choose which angles to include in review. This depends on the files the app detects; it does not imply synchronized, side-by-side playback.
Virtual clips
Section titled “Virtual clips”For longer source video:
- Use Mark In at the beginning of the moment.
- Use Mark Out at the end.
- Select Save Clip.
This saves a virtual clip marker. It does not cut or change the original video.
Playlists
Section titled “Playlists”Select clips, save them to a playlist, and reorder them for review or a cutup. The app also supports building playlists from visible filtered rows.
Rendered video export has separate restrictions: virtual clips and long source-video rows are not supported. Read Export before preparing a video export.
If playback has a problem
Section titled “If playback has a problem”See playback troubleshooting. FFmpeg setup is for rendered export; it is not a required playback step.
